1% for the Planet is a global network with thousands of incredible businesses and environmental organisations working together to support people and the Planet.
Founded in 2002 by Yvon Chouinard, founder of Patagonia, and Craig Matthews, founder of Blue Ribbon Flies, the movement was born on the idea that a company has a responsibility to give back for use of our Planet's resources.
As a member of 1% for the Planet, Select First donates 1% of its annual revenue to environmental causes. Membership of the network underlines our commitment to taking action to operate more responsibly and have a positive impact on the environment.

The Carbon Literacy Project has helped over 150,000 individuals to become carbon literate. Everyone at Select First has undergone training to ensure their knowledge of climate change supports your marketing and communications by understanding the complexity of operating your business more sustainably.
